Thomas Allen is a graduate of the Jacobs School of Music. He enjoys performing and teaching, and has experience working with all ages, levels, and a wide variety of musical styles (classical music, musical theater, pop, rock, jazz, liturgical). Thomas is highly trained in piano performance, music theory, choir, accompaniment, conducting, and aural skills; he is also a strong advocate and teacher of injury prevention for musicians. He is dedicated to helping students appreciate music and express themselves artistically, and his teaching style adapts to the needs of each student. Thomas also composes piano music that draws upon several genres.
